Secret of Success

All too often we are faced with the obstacle of “how” to achieve the success we are striving for.

We all know that the more Scientology tools we master the more capable we are likely to become; but the problem arises when we are unsure of exactly how to go about it. It largely boils down to having a complete workable understanding of the full functions that lie behind the two triangles that are superimposed by the “S” in the Scientology symbol.

We certainly know the bottom triangle well, as Ron says:

“The lower triangle is the A-R-C triangle – its points being AFFINITY, REALITY and COMMUNICATION. These are the three elements which combined give UNDERSTANDING.

We know that Communication is the most powerful tool and is therefore the entry point to being able to increase reality or agreement in the area being approached and, provided we create sound points of agreement, the affinity naturally grows along with it.

This is the building block for everything we tackle – It is the basic workhorse of all our activities in life whether discovering new projects or building better relationships. This faithful workhorse, the ARC Triangle, when put to full use will produce the valuable final product of Understanding. And as Understanding grows, so does a comprehensive Knowledge in the field of operation.

This is where we graduate to the race horse or thoroughbred that will lead us towards the winning post and success – the upper triangle that applies to all Scientologists.

“It is the K-R-C triangle; the points are K for KNOWLEDGE, R for RESPONSIBILITY and C for CONTROL.

It is difficult to be responsible for something or control something unless you have KNOWLEDGE of it.

It is folly to try to control something or even know something without RESPONSIBILITY.

It is hard to fully know something or be responsible for something over which you have no CONTROL, otherwise the result can be an overwhelm.” …

“The KRC triangle acts like the ARC triangle. When one corner is increased the other two also rise.”

From this we can see that the two triangles interlock and enhance each other. So unless we take the Knowledge that we have gained as a result of increasing our Understanding through applying the ARC Triangle and then follow it up with application of the full KRC Triangle, we will tend to remain at effect and possibly dive into overwhelm or sit with a failed purpose, without achieving success and reaching the winning post.

So Ron says the route up is:

“KNOW something about it, take some RESPONSIBILITY for the state one is in and the scene, and CONTROL oneself to a point where some control is put into the scene to make it go right. Then KNOW why it went wrong, take RESPONSIBILITY for it, and CONTROL it enough to make it go more toward an ideal scene.

Little by little one can make anything go right by:

INCREASING KNOWLEDGE on all dynamics,

INCREASING RESPONSIBILITY on all dynamics,

INCREASING CONTROL on all dynamics.

If one sorts out any situation one finds oneself in on this basis, he will generally succeed.”

Just as UNDERSTANDING is the Valuable Final Product of ARC, POWER is the Valuable Final Product of KRC. It gives you the Power you need in order to Succeed.
